Lunchtime Recital – Catch the Spirit

“One of the bedrocks of my faith has always been the words and music of gospel songs which has nourished me and given me life in times of hardship.  This programme is called “Catch the Spirit”, and will be an exploration of sacred music from the African American and Afro Caribbean traditions.”

Rámond Mitchell, tenor, grew up in Nassau, the Bahamas, before moving to the United States to study Theology.  He currently lives in West London and works as the Director of Liturgy and Arts for St George-in-the-East Church in Shadwell.
