Parish History Day

Fr Ben will lead this event in church which will be followed by refreshments.
An opportunity for people to share stories of St Peter’s over the last few decades.
We want to invite people whether they’ve been coming to church for 50 years or 5 minutes. There’ll be a chance to look at photos, remember special occasions that have happened in the life of the church, and to look forward to the future and how we’ll write the next chapter in the life of this faithful community.
Our aim, at the end of the couple of hours we spend together, is to have a timeline of St Peter’s history – of events and significant moments – on display on the walls of the church for people to look at. Then, at the end, we’ll share a delicious afternoon tea together downstairs in the crypt.
The exact format that the event takes will slightly depend on the number of people who are interested in coming.
