At St. Peter’s we have fantastic singers in our youth and adult choirs.
We are looking for someone to build on the excellent musical base we have and continue our development:
- with passion for using music to worship and inspire;
- with the drive to build, grow and develop our children and youth choirs
- as well as to direct the choir, to play the organ and to help build a team; with assistant organist(s) and scholars to assist in playing and singing as needed
- to encourage congregational singing and participation
- to put safeguarding at the heart of their role
- with a good musical ear and attention to detail
- with confidence to make a mark and lead a group of passionate individuals/experienced singers
- with competence in a range of musical styles
- with a passion for outreach in a diverse area of London and working with young singers
- with desire and energy to continue the restoration of our superb and important four-manual William Hill organ
